G4 Combat shirt (P)

The G4 Combat Shirt is optimized for use under body armor and features lightweight, durable, stretch VTX Ripstop fabric in the sleeves. VTX Ripstop is fast drying and extremely breathable. The torso fabric is a lightweight, flame resistant jersey that wicks moisture away from the skin for comfort when worn under armor or other load bearing vests. Zippered shoulder pockets have internal expansion, set-in loop for badges, and a low profile pen pocket. Cuffs have adjustable velcro closures to keep out sand and dirt. The hem is longer in the back to ensure the shirt stays tucked in. Elbow pads are removable and provide protection against rocks, terrain and hazard.

Our next generation of Combat Apparel features innovative, custom stretch VTX Ripstop™ fabric. Torso constructed with lightweight, high performance, flame-resistant jersey fabric. Invista’s T420 high tenacity nylon fiber makes it lighter and stronger in the sleeves. Designed to be worn under body armor, the integrated stretch allows for a slimmer cut with maximum mobility. Zippered shoulder pockets are low profile and engineered to reduce bulk while still allowing room for all essential gear. Zip collar for easy donning/doffing. Designed for use with our removable AIRFLEX™ SERIES ELBOW PADS.

Why clothing with permethrin? How does it work?
Permethrin offers protection against mosquitoes, flies, ticks, lice, ... These insects can transmit diseases when stinging or biting (e.g. malaria, denges, lyme, yellow fever, West Nile disease, Zika fever). Permethrin has a “hot feet” effect: insects that land on the clothing will find this very unpleasant and leave immediately. In addition, permethrin is also toxic to insects: it acts on their nervous system. Wearing permethrin-treated clothing reduces the chance of stings and bites from the above insects by 95%. In the concentrations used, permethrin is not harmful to human health. Permethrin only protects the covered body part. It is recommended to use DEET on the body parts that are not covered. These garments have a yellow stitched label with the image of a mosquito and will have been treated with permethrin during production.
