The wool terry 400 part of PACK COMBAT & TRADE COLD (designated by ACOS O&T/J4), with full-length mid-front zip, is made in high quality terry fabric of 400 g/m². The high-pile terry with loops traps warm air between the body and outerwear. A chin guard is provided so that the zip slider does not irritate the skin. Thumb loops keep the sleeves in place. It serves as an additional insulation layer in cold climates on top of undergarments and/or uniform layer.
The wool is not moisture-wicking if worn as an outer layer. Thanks to wool's antibacterial/anti-odour properties, the item can be worn for longer without washing. This benefits the longevity of the item.
The wool contains natural flame retardant properties and provides protection against 3rd degree burns in case of accidental fire.
