For decades, women in the armed forces had to settle for uniforms designed for men, just in smaller sizes. This is not the case for the BDCS uniform. It's available in female designs cut with more room in the hips and legs with a more tailored coat.
Our G4 Female Fit uniforms feature the same innovative details and fabrics as the G4 uniform with a design that is built specially for women. Based on extensive end user feedback and evaluations, we've optimized our uniforms to increase comfort, mobility, and functionality for our female customers.
Pants
The G4 Female Fit Combat and G4 Female Fit Field Pant feature hip shaping, reduced front and back rise, optimized kneepad placement and shortened inseam with a more tailored waist throughout. The fabric is constructed from a two way stretch ripstop woven, so there is plenty of mobility and comfort for movement. Due to the nature of our fabrics, the pants are patterned to allow for shrinkage. We recommend washing the garment one time for correct fit. The length of the leg and waist circumference will shrink to size.
Tops
The G4 Female Fit Combat and G4 Female Fit Field Shirt feature chest and waist shaping, slimmer sleeve circumference, optimized elbow pad and chest pocket placement and a shortened body length. Due to the nature of our fabrics, the tops are patterned to allow for shrinkage. We recommend washing the garment one time for correct fit. The length of the sleeves and body and chest circumference will shrink to size.
The Female Fit Combat Shirt is constructed from a two way stretch ripstop in the sleeves, and the torso features a stretch knit jersey that should fit snugly, similar to a baselayer tee.
The Female Fit Field Shirt is constructed from a two way stretch ripstop woven fabric, so there is plenty of mobility and comfort for movement. The G4 Female Fit Field Shirt has a roomier fit than the G4 Female Fit Combat Shirt.
